Apeks VX1 Diving Mask Black Amber

The new Apeks VX1 Diving Mask Black Amber is the ultimate lightweight, frameless mask suited for snorkelling and diving. 

Premium Skirt Geometry
The advanced skirt geometry is made out of premium surgical grade solid black or solid white silicone. VX1 is one of the softest mask skirts on the market, especially around the area of the nose pocket. The slightly rounded edge of the skirt offers a smooth and even point of contact, which minimises facial pressure points on long-duration dives.
Mask’s external areas on the forehead and nose pocket are textured matte. The rough texture allows improved grip while wearing thick gloves, and divers usually place their fingers there when they want to clear a leaky mask.
The rest of the skirt is glossy. A separate silicone double skirt flap on the inside increases the surface area of the seal. This feature allows the mask to fit a much wider varieties face shapes and seals better than other masks.
The mask comes with a comfortable silicone mask strap and an additional neoprene strap in a zipped protective case. The mask folds down completely flat, is easy to store, and is ideal for travelling.

Quick Release Buckles
The VX1 mask features Quick Release Buckles with stainless steel roller pins for easy adjustment and the best fit. Almost all other masks use plastic pins, which tend to break after some time. The VX1’s stainless steel pins are, therefore, a convenient feature. The size and location of the strap release button on the top of each buckle enable adjustments of the strap’s micro-ratchet system with minimal effort.

Amber Lens
Apeks optical grade tempered glass black or amber lens contains fewer impurities than regular glass. The glass lens is positioned closer to the face for a more comprehensive vision field than a framed mask. The mask is easy to clear and equalise to achieve maximal optical clarity with no distortion.
